GOLDEN HARVEST FOOD BANK
Creative Specialist, Marketing Team
At Golden Harvest Food bank, I was the lead graphic designer within the organization, responsible for defining, executing, and maintaining the visual identity across all communication channels. My objective was to leverage strategic design to clarify the organization's mission, drive community engagement, and maximize fundraising success..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE OF WORK:
My scope covered the entire marketing ecosystem, assuring visual consistency and professional execution from print to digital:
Campaign Development: Spearheaded the design and production of integrated marketing materials, including digital ad sets, paid social media graphics, email campaign visuals, and print collateral (e.g., flyers, brochures).
Brand & Event Stewardship: Owned the visual branding for high-priority annual campaigns and major fundraising events (e.g., food drives, galas). This included developing comprehensive style guides for individual events to ensure cohesion across all touchpoints (signage, programs, invitations).
Internal Communications: Designed essential internal assets, such as employee/volunteer onboarding kits, recognition graphics, and informational signage, enhancing organizational clarity and morale.
Asset Management: Managed and organized the organization's library of visual assets and templates, improving team efficiency and brand consistency.
CREATIVE IMPACT:
By aligning Golden Harvest’s design strategy directly with its mission, I infused clarity and emotional resonance into its communication. By assuming ownership of the visual narrative, I ensured that all materials, from major fundraising collateral to public-facing digital ads, were visually cohesive and purposeful. This strategic application of creativity enabled the Food Bank to forge stronger connections with its diverse audience, significantly enhancing engagement and translating complex community needs into a compelling, unified brand story.
